I painted this the day Best Beloved came home from the hospital after breaking his neck. I felt like there were fireworks going off in the bright blue sky above me. The red triangle represents the Trinity, the One who had compassion us both. Blue Joy because we still were not sure of how well he would recover, or how long it would take. In fact he flew again just 8 weeks later!
